Erfurt - Street Photography

On a weekend in September, I was in Erfurt for a Street Photography workshop by Ralf Scherer. The weather was not so bad as predicted. I was surprised about the beauty of this small city in Thuringia, like Weimar last year. On the workshop it was great, to be in exchange and discussion with other Street Photographers and beginners. Even on the evening dinner, there were deep conversations about it and feeling of belonging.

My final pictures from this weekend shows me, I am still in my Street Photography routine. I took a lot of pictures just from people in front or from the side. I asked also some for a portrait. All not too wrong, but I have to focus more on special light and shadow situations or to have better compositions with a great background. On the other hand, if I am in a new city, I am in an explorer mode and just follow my instincts and the light. So I can’t leave my routine. This brings me to my already made conclusion: Be regular on the streets of your hometown, to know the environment and light conditions, to get rid of my current routine.

Anyway here are my pictures from this weekend and made with a Fuji GFX100s & 50mm lens. (except the laste one from my iPhone)
